Within the operation of the Central Securities Depository and in the registration and control of securities in circulation in Mozambique, the Mozambique Stock Exchange has adopted internationally recognized mechanisms and practices to identify securities with codes that will identify and promote the each and every security.

In this context, the Mozambique Stock Exchange was designated National Numbering Agency by ANNA (Association of National Numbering Agencies) of which it is now a partner, thus, becoming the entity responsible for securities of codification in Mozambique.

As a result, the securities registered in the Central Securities Depository are identified by two international codes namely ISIN (International Securities Identification Numbers) and CFI (Classification of Financial Instruments), which are assigned by the Mozambique Stock Exchange at each issuance of securities, or its registration in the Central Securities Depository, and communicated to all stakeholders in the system and to the market.
